- Standalone working mode or different interface depending on the terminal: RS-232, TCP/IP or CAN
- Software or hardware easy integration, offering a really realiable system for biometric technology
- Typical applications: access control to hotel's rooms, rest homes, campings, night patrol control, server rooms, office complexes...
- There are 4 different Kimaldi KBio terminals:

• KBio Alone: stand-alone working mode terminal, there is no connection to PC or host required.
• KBio Domo: stand-alone terminal, all the events are sent on-line. Suitable solution for Domotic because allows RS-232 interface to receive the events.
• KBio Offline: access control system with off-line biometric identification and on-line user database management. With CAN, RS-232 or TCP/IP connection
• KBio Online: on-line working mode is more flexible, because all its functionality is controlled by the host. Connection is required all the time
